Friday's Do Now

What is granted is often taken for granted- Father Gerry Harley

This means that you have something ,but you forget that you are lucky to have it. For example, a person born with wealth. They make not value the fact that they have money in abundance, and they tend to be nonchalant about it; this is not considering that somebody else maybe poor. The wealthy person may take the possession of money as something that obligated to them. On the other hand, a less fortunate person may find having money as a privilege .

  2. This really explains itself, but I understand what she means. She is saying that you should be thankful for what you have. Just because you have it all doesn't mean you shouldn't try to work for what you want.

  4. I agree with this quote because once a person has something they often take it for granted. They will not consider thinking about the less fortunate people that who are struggling in life.
